The premise
The playbook and the parody
Desire Based Income started as a joke about a phrase. Somebody said "passive income" in a tone usually reserved for scripture, and it became clear that an entire economy had formed around the feeling of being about to be rich.
Now the store sells both the satirical costume and the actual playbook. Some products are clearly marked comedy — fictional ebooks, systems, and template packs written exactly like the real thing. Others are real digital products: systems built to actually work, with clear disclaimers, real deliverables, and a refund policy.
Real products are labeled with a "Real product" badge. Read the satirical ones as comedy and a field guide to recognizing the pitch. Use the real ones to build something.
The honest disclaimer
Satirical products are fiction written for humour. Real products are educational content, not magic. For real products, results depend on your effort, market conditions, and compliance with platform rules. No income or outcome is guaranteed. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, career, tax, or medical advice. We don't teach anyone how to deceive, defraud, or exploit anybody — the joke is aimed at the people who market as if they do.
